I knew from the beginning that 2012 is going to be a defining year for me, but I forgot how exciting exploring an unchartered territory can be.
Here is my agenda for the year:
- Enjoy every second of my last two classes in grad school. I am going to miss being spoon fed with knowledge and having intense discussions with wonderful colleagues.
- First holiday with the man! Boston for Spring Break’12. Woot woot.
- He might also be coming back to Singapore with me early Summer! This is definitely going to be my biggest adventure of the year.
- SUMMER INTERNSHIP! I am so ecstatic! I just got accepted by the International Institute of Buffalo for an internship. Hopefully I get accepted into the Human Trafficking department, if not, Refugees Department is still going to be great regardless. Life is wonderful when you get to study what you love, and do what you love as a career.
- Finishing my Master Thesis. This, I am dreading. All the horror stories from my colleagues are definitely not helping.
- Graduation! Next step: PhD! Haha. No actually, not yet (although tempting). Going out there and getting my hands dirty is what’s next. Plus this will really determine where I am going to be for a long, long while. Who knows. The world is my playground right?
